The music ministry of Lone Oak Baptist Church fills a vital role in our worship services and daily lives.
The apostle Paul’s words in Ephesians 5:19 encourage believers to “speak to yourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord” and in Colossians 3:16 “to teach and admonish (encourage) one another” in the same three ways and “to sing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.”
That is what we are striving to do through the music ministry at Lone Oak Baptist Church.
Our choirs, orchestra, soloists and accompanists use the talents that God has given us to minister to our hearts both in worship services and special music events. |
